Does anyone know how long a grape vine fruits from planting ? I planted one 4 or 5 years ago,and although it grows,producing healthy leaves has yet to make any fruit! I have it in my polytunnel with the roots outside. Any tips gratefully received thanks

Mine fruited, with just a few bunches, the 2nd summer after planting - so don't know why yours isn't

Mine fruited the year after planting, a few bunches. I chose a variety that is adapted to northern climes ( Phoenix). I’m in London and it is outside in a SE I sheltered position next to my shed.

You could encourage a bit of outdoor growth to see if that fruits next year?
I get (small) grapes on mine outdoors in sheffield and they are still in buckets waiting for space!
