Sweetcorn worry
« on: May 19, 2011, 07:45 »
i got into a planting frenzy and didnt check up on issues with sweetcorn so i just planted them in a tray.
all have grow really well and are now mostly 6" to 8" tall.
my worry is when i separate them will they die due to root disturbance?
should i plant a few more in pots just in case?

They might sulk for a bit when you plant them out but there is no reason for them to die. Make sure that the hole is deep enough for the roots. Plant them just a litle deeper than in the tray so that the stems are supported.
