I had my "urgent" appointment yesterday, she was running 1 hour late, because she had removed a lump from the very elderly lady before me.    I took my ipad so she could see when it was really bad.     My time with her was a whole 10 minutes - so that she could catch up !!!!  Excema, not dermatitis.  Nothing I am touching etc.
But I am treating it well.    Oatmeal, and I drink Apple cider Vinegar, with the Mother. 2 desertspoons daily.
So that was that really.   I am out sort of feeling cheated, as it is quite bad round my mouth, and that was pre-masks,  She said she would write to GP with a 'script for something.

Aidy, I really do hope that you start to improve now, keep out of the sun that will irritate.    Years ago I met a Swedish woman who had it, and she said, she patted her own urine onto it.   Apparently it is common to do that in Scandinavia.    Not for me, I'll stick to oatmeal.   :D  Mrs Bouquet

Guess what???

Still scratching the itch...  :( :( :(

Was with the Dermo again yesterday, did what he asked back in October and still scratching, he looked again and decided to move forward  and now treat for a fungus infection rather than eczema, two week course of oral tablets and then revisit in four weeks, if this fails he is going to refer for light treatment for Psoriasis!

Oh well the good news is I have found theeeee best back scratcher....
A Pasta spoon  ;)

Sorry to hear you have still got the itchys.. Mine keeps coming and going.  It is a bit there at present.  I do find that the cheapest allergy and hayfever tabs help at night time.   They are called Loratadine.  Glad you are still getting help.    Mrs B

Not sure if this will or wont work.

Hello
Yes still here, not quite a skeleton yet!  :D

Been very busy but... DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....

I start the phototherapy on Monday, 3 times a week for 6 weeks then they will review and maybe more.

Fingers crossed the light in the tunnel will do the job  :D

Is this the UV therapy you were telling us about ?  You have had a wait but not too long for these days.   I do hope you will start to see progress as it gets underway.  Good Luck,  Mrs Bouquet

I minute crickey.  Is that all.  Do you have to be naked or is it just the affected parts ?   How interesting I find anything medical.    I do so hope it works.  Tomorrow is the day  :)  Mrs B

One week in, cracking tan

However, it does make everything worse before it gets better and I am itching for England now :(
My first session was not a minute but..... 26 seconds then it builds up by 5 seconds every visit, I am not allowed to go out in the sun after a session and I need to apply loads of creams after.

Well done Aidy, but what a sham they cannot give to something to take to stop that itching.  Would antihistamine help, did they suggest anything to take orally ?   Keep going.   best regards,  Mrs Bouquet
