Poultry shield
« on: June 20, 2010, 10:34 »
I've been using barrier red mite powder in my coop but it's hard to get it in all the cracks so I bought some poltry shield and I intend to spray it in the cracks will this need to be done on a warm day so it can dry. Will it harm the girls if they try and taste it? also what's a good product that I can use to disenfect my patio that won't harm them when wash it down with water they drink from the cracks so I'm reluctant to use chemicals but sooner or later this is going to have to be done. Any thoughts ?

It is best to spray the Poultry Sheild on a warm day as earky as possible so it can dry out before their bedtime. It won't harm the girls so don't worry.

I use Jayes Fluid to wash everything down even their feeders and drinkers and rinse it well.
