rhubarb crowns
« on: October 27, 2015, 15:14 »
I dug some rhubarb crowns up today and the roots were covered in white powder. Some of the crowns were hollow, any idea what this is.
Hurray finally retired
two plots now 31A and 35A

If the crowns were hollow it sounds like old age to me. Time to start again.

Was all of each root hollow?  Crowns can be split up if some parts are still OK - have you checked this?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
