They're obviously on some foreign planet unknown to man but it's not one of any that the Hubble telescope or NASA have so far discovered. Beam them up Mr. Spock!

So today daughter and I decided on a long walk (55 mins) got on to the prom here, all of a sudden the benches were full of late 60s/70 year olds just sat chatting away with not a care in the world, people walking past them saying your not supposed to be sat around but they juat ignored them.
Just cant get it in my head what these people are thinking!

We went for a walk and the number of people who had masks on and thought that social distancing didn't apply to them.  was horrifying. We retreated from a crossing at a junction to let people off the road safely and were pressed against a wall to get some space. And one prat just toddled up past us nearly touching us when it the footpath was about 2m. Or were chatting to a friend and maintaining 2m from a friend, but nearly walked into us. There was 4 of us so we weren't hard to miss. Raging. 

2 Metres from everyone and it's not just yourself you need to think about.

There was some angry words from me about 2 metres. My knee's hurting so next time I'm taking my walking stick and it'll have two uses. Boundary delineation being one of them.

From what I can gather, masks don't offer the wearer much protection but they do protect other people to a degree by restricting the ejection of droplets from the wearer.

Talking of idiots - the daily briefing journalists are really going for it. My favourite so far is the one who asked the Chief Scientific Officer if they would change their advice if the evidence changed.  Although they answer every question properly, you can see in their eyes what they're really thinking.

Sorry to say that our National Broadcaster is one of the worst culprits!

Why they can't just go out and get a story, instead of trying 'Gotcha' tactics to the scientists, experts, and even Ministers, is beyond me - - -  well, it isn't really as they do it all the time now! Not good for business I'm afraid.
