Title: Steaming Success!
Post by: whippersnapper on October 23, 2008, 18:02
Firstly, thank you to all those who have unknowingly contributed towards my steaming pile of compost! Just popped out to add today's stuff and discovered a hot steaming pile. Well chuffed, especially since it's my first.

What now? Do I leave this pile alone and start another? Keep adding to it and turn regularly still? I don't want to end the good work that has clearly begun to do its magic!

It just feels all a bit early, since I have not yet finished preparing the groud for next Spring. Some parts still covered by turf!

Thanks again.

Thanks.

Just went down to make sure it is still ok...think the missus thinks I've lost it!

Will keep adding and turning every so often.

Cheers.
