strange flowers on runner beans

ive planted a variety of different runner beans that i bought from wilkinsons and they are all coming along nicely and i also have a little patch set aside for my son and he has a couple of runners growing there to but strangely one of them has white flowers on it??? i dont know what variety it is but he has no different varieties to me and all mine are red/dark orange coloured

or do you think that maybe one seed of a different variety got in by mistake

it's possible but I'd have thought that they'd be packaged under strict conditions to prevent that.

did his seed look any different to the one's you planted?

i planted about 4 different varieties and he had a mixture of what i had left over

Suttons do have a variety with white flowers called Apollo....

just noticed it says - Very prolific fruit setting
is that just the wording he used or are runners classed as fruit like tomatoes cause the beans are actually the seeds?
