So it was suggested that New Horizon is a good compost to transplant your seedlings in.
I can now confirm it ain't  Both my peppers and toms have struggled, leaves pale/ yellow.
I have now transplanted it my own and they look like they are recovering fingers crossed.
Anyone else had issues?

I don't think any of them are any good without some vermiculite mixed in to help with water retention

I'm trying John Innes No. 2 for both potting on my flower plug plants and sowing veg seeds in pots which are now on my kitchen window sill. Soil-based compost has always been what I call a "cold" medium as it doesn't seem to warm up as quickly and retains moisture. I'll let you know how I go on. Last year I used Sylvagrow which wasn't as good because it was peat free and grew little spindly mushrooms in it as well. As seedlings won't need a lot of feed maybe try a bag and see what you think.
