I just bought my potato's and onions set, I was just wondering where I  can store them before they go in the garden either in the greenhouse or in the house

The potatoes should be kept in a frost-free place, ideally not in the dark because they will start sprouting.

I would start 'chitting' them, which means putting them in the light, in a cool but frost-free place, in something like seed trays or egg trays. Look at each seed tuber and one end will have more 'eyes' or places where sprouts are likely to form from. Ideally, have them uppermost.

Onions are hardier and will cope in the greenhouse - again I'd probably suggest in the light rather than dark, but they are less fussy than spuds.

I put my onion sets in seed modules full of compost, in the greenhouse. They can start to grow and can get planted out as soon as the warmer weather arrives.
