grew this for the first time and really good plants,
after this winter all the leaves have died just stalks left.
is this normal? do the leaves and head regrow b4 april ?

They don't mind a bit of cold, but they don't like being frozen solid for days on end. I doubt very much that they will regrow, if there are only stalks left

Yeah my PSB and winter leeks are done for, a whole week in December with temps not rising above -3c and down to -11c and then the low light we have at that time of year has done them in. At least we don't get that weather every year

thanks for the info, ill try again this year, shame really they were excellent plants in november !
