Hello everyone - still raining out there!

Can anyone recommend a basil with the largest leaves and the strongest flavour?

I need to rebuild our (I mean my) store of pesto,  the Memsahib aint too keen on it.

Genovese is the classic Italian basil with extra-large dark green leaves and spicy flavour.

I tried growing lettuce leaved basil for this last year but my seeds didn't take off  the leaves are up to 6 inches long.

 Good morning snow,  if your seeds didn't germinate, how do you know how long the leaves are  Aaah Aaah? ! ? !

I’d like to recommend genovese basil as the stuff I had before was faulty lol
