Well, I am normally so meticulous - much to the amusement of my partner - about planning where things are going on the plot etc using my spreadsheet template (which is especially good fun in the winter months when there is nothing that can be done on the plot and the planning, referring to it, tweaking it etc... makes me feel as if I am out there ...a bit...in my mind...).
Yet today I was doing some general weeding and harvesting and the like only to discover a row of turnips that I had forgotten about and had not..shock, horror..added it to my electronic "master plan". Must have been a "whim sowing". I must be slipping. Still, the ones I picked will be a nice addition to tonight's roast.

lol. Good one.
And mighty fine they were too, steamed then sauteed gently in chicken fat and tarragon....
Now if my swedes (which I did know I had planted) also do well I will be a happy boy!!
