Morning everyone,
I have just taken delivery of my pressure treated timber boards and posts to make up some raised beds, I have seen that a lot of people paint them (I guess this is to try and extend life?) what does everyone use because Im getting so confused reading around this, is it just normal fence paint? also do you do both sides? have read some people put plastic on the inside fence but others say this will trap moisture and cause the wood to rot quicker, what do you all do?

The whole point of using pressure treated wood is that you don't have to do anything to it, it's already been done in the treatment. If anything, painting them is more for design aesthetics. If you're fine with the existing wood colour, then don't bother painting, it's just more money.

I've just used Wilkinson's fence care. Probably pretty short lived in terms of preservation, but looks OK, is plant safe and only £5.57 for 5 litres at the moment.
