The Tree Men
« on: November 06, 2023, 12:54 »
Are here today, the huge olive tree is being severely reduced.  A small conifer hedge being shaped. a tree fern
which has become badly diseased has had to go, it was about 4ft tall nd a devil to get out.   A large bamboo in a very large container has been moved from a corner to another corner, but it might have to go. (I have another one)  My neighbour has an Eleagnus which is growing over my wall and several feet have be cut off, but the neighbour doesn't want the height reduced on his side !!  So just right now the garden looks awful, I hope it looks better at the end of the day, when the have a major clear up.  Mrs Bouquet    (they know how to charge)

Sometimes it's good to have a real clear out of things that aren't doing what you want. I agree that tree men can be pricey but better to get good ones than risk a general haircut that looks dreadful.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Well the guys finished and it looks great.  I had bought a tree which has been planted were the bamboo was.
Today I have cleaned out the Pigsty.  Thats where everything hat the rain cannot damage gets dumped.  I have swept it out and piles of olive tree leaves surprised me.  Then I moved onto a flower bed where they removed the tree fern.  They are tree men so do not make flower beds good, but today I have.
Then I had to hose down the large patio which was caked in muddy boot prints.  It was all hard work, but it looks really good now.   Still loads for me to do out there, but it'll get done.  Was it worth £300 -  yes.  Mrs B
