Hi,

My brother has bought me some mushroom spore-infused bits of dowling for my birthday and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a couple of logs for them, I'm in the Hull area.

Also, the mushroom is called 'Chicken of the Forest' - has anyone any tips or recommendations about growing this, or any other mushrooms on logs? I am hoping to put the logs on the lottie somewhere and maybe wrap them up a bit as the plot can be exposed to the elements.

That particular mushroom grows on oak and a few more desidous trees, I think. Can't remember what age the logs need be.

To tell you the truth I'm not much of a mushroom eater, but I know he'll be checking up on me and I'll give anything a bash once or twice!
