  I felt really sorry for my 8 hens because since the deep freeze they have been unable to scratch around for any worms or bugs that may be around. Then I had a brainwave. My 2 Jack Russell's have raw beef rib bones from our butcher's that have so much meat on you could make a meal of them. I strung one up in the run. On my God. They went bonkers for it. .  It swung like a boxer's punchbag as they all pecked away. Apparently they particularly like marrow bones as well.
