I have some beans two rows under some scaffold netting. Will they be ok as far as pollinating goes ? I don't want to lift the netting as I also have a few sprout plants down the middle

Now I could be wrong but I suspect that they will rely on insects (mainly bees) to pollinate them if they can't get in the crop could be low.

ok thank you I will take the netting off tonight and cover the sprouts in a fleece until there done

French beans are self-pollinating. You don't need to lift the net if you don't want to.

I've got some French beans, planted later than the others, and they've not got beans on yet but there's still time

Its been a mega crop year for dwarf french beans  its one crop i never need to net either thank god.
