my tree has now got some curly leaves,
with what looks like small black aphids
on them... the ants seem every where.
what can be used to remove these?
what are they?

The ant' are "farming" the aphid's. They protect them in return for the sweet liquid the aphid's excrete. There are many spray's available.

I have ordered some provado as we are dripping in them on every plant, trouble is i need some dry weather to do it.

I have blackfly, green fly the lot, ants the world is creeping around here

Soapy water works on aphids and worked on my french beans but the trees are covered and struggling and the blackthorn look like someone has poured sugar all over them so i will go i with the provado ultimate bug killer.
