Hi everyone

Some of my potted tomatoes in the greenhouse last year suffered clear aminopyralid effects. I'm still not sure what caused this, it could have been in the multi-purpose compost or in the rotted '100% organic' manure from Country Naturals, also from the garden centre. I made the decision not to mix in any manure to this year's potted tomatoes, so will see how they do. But I've only gone and covered most of my dug over beds in an inch or so of this manure in late autumn, now I'm worried that this manure might be contaminated too?! Should I scrape it all off my beds just in case? Or is it too late?

I'd take samples of the manure from several places and test it - then you'll know whether to remove it or not.

Ok thank you for that idea, sounds easy enough to do.

Think I'll avoid using manure in the future and add compost to beds instead, plus feed. Was gutted about the tomatoes that were affected, all the ones outside in the ground were fine, despite a little bit of that manure used as a mulch.
