FYM
« on: September 27, 2013, 10:28 »
Hi chaps, I mentioned this in another thread but thought it better to start a new topic ... I have had a big load of manure delivered (cow with straw) ... a bit fresh. I have spread it over my new plot and it's 8"-10" thick I can leave it until the new season - so maybe 6 months. Should I hope the worms will do all of the work or should I dig some in. A neighbour suggested that it might cake over in the spring and be a nightmare ... anyone any experience of similar please ?

Regards Roger
