Hi,

I've had umpteen attempts to try and get some cauliflower up and running with a success rate of nil.

I deliberately bought Bulgarian seeds thinking they'd stand a better chance of survival but, as usual, there are no instructions apart from I must sow them between 15th May and 5th June.

Would someone please give me a few tips? 

Everyone who knew I was setting them told me I was wasting my time but I had to try.

I sowed some Igloo cauli's and recently relocated them.
Had a bit extra space at the new location so I sowed some seeds direct, I put 2-3 seeds in at each place. About 2 weeks ago.

Half have germinated. As in at some places I have 2-3 seedlings at others nothing.

Have no ideda why half the plantings have failed, they are all fairly close so should have similar conditions and all are watered at the same time and so with very similar amounts.

Can only suggest that you either try a different variety, or have another go but put say 3 seeds in at each place.

Hi, once you plant out your caulies you must keep them growing dont let them dry out in a dry spell feed them well and give them space. If they have a check all you will get is tiny curds.
