cheap mantis tillers
« on: May 01, 2009, 15:23 »
about to hit the market 5 mantis tillers. 1 4 cylinder honda tiller only done 6ft x 4ft bed.
3 strimmers,  1 850kw generator and saw.also barrow to carry all the loot away.
last night a large steel container with large security lock broken into, chain link fence ripped up obviously a team of determined s**m.
police notified first thing but no show as yet
have the serial no,s etc.
but you cant rotovate with a serial no.
should be somewhere to log serial no. so potential buyers can check if they are been offered stolen goods.
spent day waiting to report but alas police too busy for allotments.
would feel better after rant but it is now raining went out this morning in sunshine and blue sky. come home! wet through! and just a bit annoyed.

That's all too common I'm afraid. >:(

My advice to everyone would have to be, If you can't afford to lose it, don't leave it where it can be "got at".
Our allotments have had the same done, it truly gets on my wick.

These kinda posting remind me just how much kit there is at my plot.  My dad got us a new cordless drill that he like to keep hold of and left it in the shed. i havent told him that i have put it in my car boot.  Will wait and see how long it take's for him to notice it gone.  I wont leave to much stuff there as i cant afford to replace.

I got stuff to bring home again i think at some point soon.

They need there fingers cutting off.
Thanks
Kris
