Title: Gooseberry bush has lost a lot of leaves.
Post by: londongardener on August 19, 2009, 11:37
Some of my Gooseberry bushes have lost a lot of leaves?  It might be slugs (as there are a lot of weeds near by - not my responsibility).
Any advice?  Will they recover?

So has one of mine!

It's possibly sawfly, but I didn't have a close look.

Should be OK next year, just think yourself lucky it didn't happen earlier in the year!

One of mine had all its leaves eaten even after I found 2 of the caterpillars, the rest must have been wearing camouflage or been invisible
