Please can anyone suggest a solution for tomato leaf curl? We were given several Shirley plants early in the season and selected two for our own use. Whilst the plants are growing strong enough the leaves are tightly curled and seemingly refuse to open. Ironically, the other plants in the same batch which have since been passed on seem OK.

Probably too hot and/or too much direct sun. The leaves curl up to protect the plant from stress. Shade the plants if you can.
