my sister in law wrks in a primary school and they hatched eggs tht arrived on monday. 9/10 hatched 4 girls 5 boys. were getting them a week friday they will b 1 1/2 weeks old. any one got any tips for a first time chick keeper.
got brooder ready i think. will try and put pics up asap.
1 dog -Chloe 1 cat - Oscar 2 hamsters - Flo and Tinkerbell 3 ferrets - Charlie, chip and rupert 3 light sussex - Madge, Henrietta and lucy-lou 2 black rocks - Peggy and Betty 1 puppy on the way i'm not mad i'm in love. :)

Hi there I just saw your message :)

You will need: brooder with a non slip surface, heating (can range from a normal red bulb in a lamp you can hang, a "proper" heat lamp, or electric hen), chick feeder with chick crumb, chick waterer.

At a week and a half they should still be heated to 35C.
