Title: 20th Hampshire Potato Fair

For those within reach, the 20th Hampshire Potato Fair will take place on Sat 27 and Sun 28 Jan 2018, at Testbourne Community School, Whitchurch, Hampshire.  Opening 10am-3pm each day.  Adults £2, kids free.  More details on Growing Events - UK Garden Shows, Festivals and Events Diary (http://www.growingevents.co.uk) and click on events in January for more details.  You can buy seed spuds, onion sets etc etc.

We do usually go to that one and very good it is too. Back from holiday the day before so I shall have to ry to get my head in gear :D

This will be our first one, despite living just up the road!  Hoping to get this years seed spuds, also some red and kitchen onion sets.

There are so many varieties it is eyewatering tbh and having at least a bit of a list from their website does help a bit  :lol: :lol: :lol:

and there should be plenty of shallots to choose from too  :D

I've been before but as it is a 120 mile round trip it is difficult to justify the cost of going. If you live more local I would definitely recommend going if only to see the huge numbers of different varieties of potatoes available.
