A fortnight ago I got a phone call from a slightly foreign-sounding lady about my cordless Dyson so I was immediately wary. Because I was one of the first to register their latest model they wanted to see how it was performing after nearly two years when its guarantee runs out. If I answered a few short questions I'd get a new one, they'd take mine back to their lab for tests and all for free so I decided nothing was lost. When I voiced my concerns about it being genuine she assured me it was because Dyson need physical and verbal feedback to maintain quality and further future innovations. I packed it up with the three rotating heads, a courier came with my new one all boxed-up, took the old one away, and I am now the proud possessor of a brand new one with a 2 year guarantee! I'm still recovering from this unexpected "gift" as I love my Dyson, it's so light, easy to use, and I daren't put it on suck number 3 or it will probably remove anything within 2 foot including my OH!

That's a win then!

How do you do it, first saucepans, now a new Dyson. Can you share your secret ? Mrs Bouquet

I wonder if it's the same girl who keeps emailing me about a 'test drive' on a new Dyson?
If it is, then I'll include a stamped addressed envelope...

I stuck out for my rights on the saucepans and won but this Dyson jobbie just came out of the blue! Growster, I doubt Dyson would pester you as this is their latest model but give it a go and see what happens. If you've never bought a Dyson appliance then truss me - ha!
