I thought this was supposed to be multicoloured  :blink:

*IF* it is someone has stolen all my colours and left me with only red.  I sowed a 6ft row directly months ago and had very poor germination ( 4-5 red plants), I've also put 20 seeds in modules 18/20 germination and at the moment they all look red to me. Come on own up whos got a packet containing all yellow and white

The reds are more hardy than the others so its not surprising you have a monochromatic chard patch. Its also possible that the packages got mixed in the labelling line and you did get all reds. They're tasty too so don't be disappointed. I suspect all mine will be red again.

Fortunately mine are a glorious mix of reds, tangerine, yellow and white.

I agree with sunshineband, at least they have a colour to them! I have sown bright lights and rainbow chard. The module sown plants look much better and you can plant them out alternate colours Sorry!

As my seedlings have matured I've noticed that I have some that have red stems and then others that are more a fuchia pink. I have had a couple of yellow ones come up though. I've also noticed that the leaves on some of my seedlings have started to turn red too. Does anyone know if this is a bad sign as I read somewhere that it's a sign of disease when rhubarb does this?

When it comes to chard there is no "bright lights" variety which produces "multi coloured" chard, what they actually do is take the variety's of the different colours and mix up the seeds in packets and call this mix of variety's "bright lights", it's possible you just got unlucky and got a mostly red packet. 

Tbh they all taste similar and the red is my fav because i think the red vaining on the deep green leaves is stunning so i wouldn't worry to much.
