With weather being so stormy, last night, I sorted out some braising beef from the depths of the freezer and today it is in the slow cooker with a load of fresh and dried veggies. That'll stick to my ribs for a few days, I reckon

I finished off the bombay spuds - but it wasn't filling. I've already had to make some cheese on toast and I have a feeling that I'll also need a jacket spud with tuna in a bit. Im ravenous, I blame the weather too.

Freezer surprise.

Was going to do SS chicken with the left over rice from yesterday - but it's not exactly the weather for it.

Oven baked salmon-mine was in teriyaki sauce, savoury rice-himself didn’t even pick the bits out  with tomatoes & cucumbers on the side

Messed around mac and cheese with roasted squash added into the mix.  Just some peas on the side.  It was very filling, but OH managed 2 helpings … he is now in a bit of a food coma and fast dozing off though

Bangers and mash with spoon standing.  Bog standard food as I've had a bad reaction to some tablets I was   prescribed.  They told me they don't contain Lactose (to which I'm intolerant) so I took them, only two, but it's enough to set me off.  On further investigation have found it's not the tablet that contains it, it's the coating.    48 hours on just water to wash it out so Paul has been looking after himself.  (I notice that means pizza one night and a kebab the next!)
