We managed drizzle. Its made it very unpleasant and it needs a good storm to clear the air, it's very muggy.

Our measly share of the rain yesterday was 2mm. 

Cloudy day today, a bit humid but at 20C max it hasn't felt too bad.

Looking at the rain radar now - rain to the south of us, rain to the west - stuck in the middle with now't!

We've had a few showers but nothing else.  It's really dark and muggy, we've got the main lights on and the doors open.  There's no draught and no bird song.  It rained over night as the flat roof had it's usual puddles.

Rained overnight yesterday on and off, but no storms.  Today was cooler, but still humid.  It started raining again about an hour ago and was quite heavy for a while.  I have the window open to catch a breeze and swear I can hear the garden plants sighing with relief

Dry and grey first thing.  Now tipping it down, no thunder or lightening for which my dog is truly grateful.

just a max of 17c today, quite blowy NNE.   It has absolutely poured down, and as my carport has been taken down, ready for the new-build, my garage is a bit wet !!!    But need the roofer before the carport can be constructed.

Poured down all day relentlessly.  No thunder and lightning still.  Lots of overflowing drains and large puddles which Paul delights in driving through.  Thank goodness for a diesel van.

It's rained on and off all day, it's still been humid but a lot cooler now, so better for sleeping tonight.

We had a decent day yesterday, fairly sunny, warm but not hot and the only fault was a little too breezy.

Today looks set for a greyish day, possibly a little drizzle later.

Another grey warm, day, and forecast to stay like that all day. Can I have the sun back for at least a little while, pretty please?

Are we really supposed to celebrate Solstice and Midsummer soon when we have wind and rain whipping round our house?  I've      put the little  heater on as I was cold.  I've yet to wear a summer top!  Can we go back to last year and the lovely weather we had then.

After early showers it turned out lovely and bright this afternoon.  We went for a drive to Ventnor and sat on the prom and had an ice cream (lolly for me as I can't eat ice cream). Lots of people out and about.

About 20 minutes of sunshine over the whole weekend and nearly 24 hours of continuous rain on Friday. What a waste of 16 hours of daylight.

This site which I picked up off a weather forum shows how wet it has been in the SE in June so far, largely thanks to Friday
