It's been bitterly cold this afternoon very windy

We had some rain at last but not a massive amount, this morning it's cold and very windy.  Walking the dog it was back to hat and gloves.

Steady rain yesterday which was nice but could have done without the winds overnight. Warmer this morning but still a bitter nip to the wind.

In some places we are only 8 feet away from the cliff edge.

We took a road that looked much faster than the main road to Ronda in Spain. It was narrow and wound up the mountain with endless drops to the side.Eventually we reached the mountaintop town. I staggered from the car, shaking, into the nearest bar and downed a double brandy. We took the easy road down.

It's still very windy here and down at 5șC but the greenhouses appear to have survived. We've had 56mm of rain over the last 24 hours. Expect the grass will be fair shooting up now - which will cheer the farmers who are having to supplement the pasture feed.

Just before I went to bed, I put buckets out to catch some rain - but they just ended up blown against the hedge 
Bright, 10C and very breezy this morning (gusting at 38mph!)  so daren't risk taking the tomatoes out to the greenhouse they'd get flattened on the way

The noise from the winds and rain last night were bad.   Today a few blue patches.  Max 14c but feels like 9c
the winds are WNW, doesn't feel warm to me.

One shower last night which lasted for about 45 minutes otherwise it was just very windy.  Today has been bright and sunny but still windy but not as much as last night, no rain though.  Within the first two hours of opening the shop we had sold out of greenhouse glass!

Bit more rain this morning but brightening up a little now. Still cold at 9șC and a bit breezy. Really cutting wind. Can we have may weather now, please?
Last night, around 9pm, massive, heavy and low solid black clouds came over with lightening flashes. That was weird!
Good news - no damage to either greenhouse

Glorious sun but bitter wind.  The rain we were promised last night did not arrive, they are now talking about rain mid afternoon,  am not holding my beath.

I got a few bits on the line at 9am.  Bought them in at 1.30 pm just before the rain.   Pouring down now and feels quite cold.

I managed to get the tomato plants out to the g/house while it was still sunny and calm.
Now the cold wind is back and it has clouded over, and it's only 11C *sob*

I've just put the heating on.    Grey and dark outside and I'm sure we just had a sleet shower.

Heavy rain/hail on and off all day.  Came home and put the heating on as the damp has made me feel chilly.  Timber delivery turned up during a really heavy shower so driver waited in his cab until it stopped.

Heavy showers on and off today, like the rest of you, not exactly warm either.
