SNOW  in Blackpool!!!

Here it's low grey cloud and 0.5C Greenhouse frozen up again!
The cloud is forecast to clear, with a few bright spots, before wintry showers later then -5C tonight  - we'll see.

Forecast was for sleet followed by heavy snow around 3am through to the morning. All was clear at 5.30am but there was /is a very light dusting this morning. Light breeze and hovering around freezing.

Bright but bitterly cold here.  Still about 50 surfers/paddle boarders in the water at 8.30 this morning at Compton.  They must be mad!

Same here Wighty, but no surfers. Went for walk down to the river today and the Severn is at one of the highest floods heights I've ever seen.

Frosty, but not as thick as yesterday when it never cleared.

We have a thick frost -2C, I can see from here that the greenhouse is frozen solid, so neither me nor the cat, have ventured outside Brr!

That funny white stuff gone now. Back to a propper Northern cowd day, bit of cloud.

We have snow - proper big snowflakes as well 

Settling well and we have at least a couple of inches of it.  I have just been out to throw some robin and songbird mix feed under shrubs where the ground is clear.  All you can hear are excited children shouting and running around in the surrounding gardens
