Hello does any techno minded people out there know how to clean a computer disk up I'm trying to down load  photos onto my computer from my phone I keep getting a message that there's not enough disk space   jezza

Can you delete/ uninstall stuff you do not need, then disfragment the computer.
See how much space is on your computer.
Are you pics on the phone on a sd card, you could insert that into the computer

Hello I have tried in installing /deleting stuff on the computer I have a good sledge hammer to fragment the computer the pics on the phone SIM are downloaded it's the ones in the phone that won't download this new computer has no where for a SIM card if I wanted to down load it that way I use a charger cable connection  jezza

On a Windows PC, go to 'My computer' ('This PC') to see a summary of the available space on your hard drive - if there is plenty of space it could be the app you are using to transfer the photos has got its knickers in a twist.

If your hard drive is indeed full, try 'Disk clean-up' to free up space.

You can also get a SD Card Reader for a few quid that fits into any USB port on the computer. They generally take a variety of the SD card sizes too.

Hello I have tried disk clean up it doesn't work there's 28 of 29 Mb used I have a SD  card reader but that won't down load the photos from the camera  jezza

How big is your hard drive?
How do you transfer from your phone to the computer? Do you use the charger (data) cable.
Do you delete or uninstall (control panel)
Have you considered an external hard drive to back up pictures, films etc?
Do your drivers need updating?

Hellogrindling in answer to your first question I use the charger cable as to the rest of the questions it's gobbledy gook, I know how to turn computer on off and type in a website as for anything else I don't know anything  jezza

control panel - programs - install/uninstall. Delete stuff you installed and no longer use
start - computer - scroll to C drive, it should say how much free out of how many
Do you download a lot,if file not needed delete

Not sure what that is, it doesn't sound like your hard drive, which should be measured in Gb (there are 1000 Mb in a Gb).

Your hard drive will probably have something more than 100Gb unless it's ancient (mine has over 900Gb). There should be more than enough to upload some photos to it.
