Title: Small photo of my dahlias
Post by: Casey76 on July 28, 2009, 20:23
I eventually decided to cut some of my dahlias to bring them inside for a spot of colour.  I'm quite pleased with how they have grown, despite the rabbits and chickens and not to mention the slugs and blackfly lol...

Your cacti ones tend to appreciate a higher nitrogen feed ;)

Love the purple one ( top center ), what's it called?

Thanks all :)

Yabba, unfortunately I have no idea what any of them are called.  But I agree the purple and white one is beautiful.  The flowers are a good 13 to 15cm across when fully open.

I could send you a part tuber if you like (once they've been lifted and dried)

Yes please :D

We've got a fair few varieties that I could swap for it ... and I know the names of them :D

Unfortunately all ours are short and green at them moment as our first show isn't for another couple of weeks, I'll no doubt take the odd photo once they're in bloom
