Title: Keeping greenfly off an over-wintering chilli plant
Post by: Gardener and Rabbit on December 29, 2014, 12:34
Has anyone got any good tips for keeping greenfly off an over-wintering chilli plant?

Washing and soap sprays keep the greenfly down, but the plant doesn't seem to appreciate them, and a few more leaves shrivel up afterwards each time.  The plant is on a warm, sunny windowsill, and kept quite dry.

A systemic spray would do the trick while they're indoors - specially while they're no fruiting.
Personally I choose not to use systemic sprays once things start flowering if I'm going to be eating them.
