Hello all
I've just been watching today's BBC coverage of Chelsea and saw something I'd like to recreate but im not sure of the name of one of the plants. It's in the Bosch group urban garden - the earth air fire and water one. Toby Buckland commented on the contents of a big tub that was representing a fire. It had a smoky acer underplanted with burnt orange geums, yellow achillia and ??? What? Something that sounded like black coffee apogan! It had dark reddish foliage and fire red flowers. Can anyone tell me what is was?
Thanks!
Lisa

Saw it yesterday and liked them too, just had a re-listen on iPlayer and what you're after is Coal Black Ophiopogon.
Hope this helps.
EDIT: 43:30 on yesterdays Chelsea.

Oh Plot 18 how clever to think of iplayer and what a fab name for a plant!!
Lisa, have a look at www.crocus.co.uk, they have loads of plants that you don't often see at the regular garden centres.
