1. Either climbing French Beans or Dwarf, but not both
2. Fewer, or more varied, summer squash/courgettes rather than 9 Sunburst
3. Probably skip Runner Beans - poor show this year
4. Spinach Beet/Perpetual Spinach - will stick to F1 Reddy as more versatile

Lots more on things that I want to grow that I did not this year,  though.

My runner beans have had a bad year, but Ive had really good years and so I wouldn't give up after just one year.

Do any seed suppliers sell a "variety pack"?  You kind of need three seeds of each of five varieties!

They keep for about 7 years so just use what you want or swap with a friend

Far fewer spuds. Looking like il have 4-5 sacks this year.

Less Main crop onions - lots of white rot, and shallots offer biggest saving vs the shops.

No dwarf beans next year, a pain to pick compared to climbing varieties which have been so prolific this time!

Don't get the comments ref chard, I love it wilted in butter with baby leeks. Perfect accompaniment to crispy fillet of sea bass and a cold fiano :-) first had that in Tuscany and now eat all the time. Also used for chicken sag but spinach better tbh. Baby chard and beet leaves are my fave salad leaves by far too.
