OK the game is to make 3 resolutions for the New Year and at least one has to be fake. Let’s see if we can guess if you are determined or day dreaming
I’ll start you off :
I’m going to make an effort to do more exercise
I’m not buying any seeds that I don’t really need
I’m definitely keeping on top of my plot this year
-
I am not going to have so many pots and containers
I am going to stop being miserly and spend some of my money
I am going to move to a smaller property
Mrs Bouquet
-
I'm going to start eating lunch.
I'm going to stop saving things which could possibly be useful - one day.
I'm going to finish the DIY projects I've started and left.
<edit - I'm also going to buy an new keyboard>
-
I’m going to learn to play the piano
I’m going to go wild swimming
I’m going to spend at least an hour a day doing housework
-

Are we supposed to guess which one is fake?
If so, Id assume your second one was - because we all know that's nigh on impossible to keep to

Yep I’d go with that one too lol

I think you’ll not move Mrs B

Hmm, this is difficult I’m torn between the lunch or the DIY, do you have the time for either?
-
You can guess but what makes you think I won’t keep to the second one  OK , maybe I have given the game away on that one in previous posts  I’d say 1 fake and 2 pipe dreams for me.
Lardman I suspect of day dreaming on all 3
Snowdrops is never going to do an hour of housework a day even if she has to go wild swimming or play the piano to avoid it
Mrs B - perhaps 3 is real  No way the garden won’t be filled with beautiful pots of flowers and I don’t believe the bit about being miserly anyway

Mrs B, I think you will find it nigh impossible not to have so many pots and containers, but the most difficult thing would be to move to a smaller property, much as you might like to, so I vote for the third thing on your list.
As for spending more of your money - why not?? As long as you keep enough for emergencies plus a bit, why not make yourself comfortable?

Great resolutions here, so for me...
Take something out of the roof and chuck it, once a week
Grow fewer tomatoes - 89 plants is ridiculous (two years ago)
Finish scanning all our old photographs.
-
Mine are:
Stop buying so many books and knitting yarn
Stop going in every charity shop I come to - refer to previous pipe dream
Spend less time at the allotment
The problem is on the way to and from the plot I can visit two rather nice charity shops, if I were to make a 2 Mile detour I could avoid them

I really do suspect that you will keep NONE of these resolutions

I suspect that the first is the one least likely to happen :D

I think that saving useful things, will be the hardest to keep to - mainly because I've never managed to do it

Ha ha ha, you're probably right, Mum!
This Christmas, I still had last years decs in a box in the spare room waiting to go UP last January!
There's quite a lot of junk up there which really has to go now, and anyway, we have a plumber coming in to do some work, so he'll have to get through all the murk to get to the tank, so I have to do it by January 18th...
-
Got it in one Mum, but a gal can hope
-
Mine are:
1. To only put things that are either useful of I just really like them in my new bedroom
2. To make sure there is somewhere I to plant something before I actually buy it
3.To spend at least three hours a week painting
-
Sunshineband, I think No.2. Because I do that and get it home and think, oh, where shall I put it ::) Mrs B
-
Mine are:
1. Keep on top of the garden
2. Eat lunch regularly
3. Get some walking exercise
-
this really is a really hard one. if only?
to get a good crop of Parsnips and swede :D
to break the habit of being a seed ahoholic :D
to stop drinking pints of beer only halves :D
to stop acting like Victor Melldrew [that's a hard one] >:(
-
Roland, I knew a beer expert who told me that real beer drinkers always drink in halves!
Dunno why, however, but at over four quid for Harvey's (local brewery), it is cheaper that way, as the trek to the bar takes that much longer...

I think the 'pie-in-the-sky' one is to stop being a seedaholic
