Does anyone have some good recipes for flavouring vodka? Masha came up with Chrstmas pudding flavoured and its wetted (sorry) my apetite!!!

We have made raspberry vodka in the past but it needs a couple of months to sit I think, I'll look up the recipe if you like ?

The damson one is nice but has been in the cupboard for months now.  Chilli vodka is supposed to be good but haven't had it, I like Buffalo vodka, and blackcurrant vodka too.

Liquer making is the primary use of my blackcurrants. The taste is so intense (not like a dash of 20 - 30% juice in your drink) that you don't notice the alcohol at first.

Sounds grogeous, I've only had Absolut blackcurrant vodka, yours sounds much nicer.  My problem is I only like drinks that don't taste of alcohol, can't stand beer or lager, always get into trouble if I drink coctails that taste like pudding!

Put a bottle of vodka, plus some pricked damsons and sugar in a jar (I used a large spaghetti jar) leave for a few weeks or months depending on how strong you like it, turn occasionally. If it's too sweet add more vodka to water it down, that's it really!

This is more of a summer thing.

Take a watermelon and prick holes in the skin with a knitting needle and pour vodka into the holes. Put it in the fridge for a week, topping up the holes with vodka every day.

At the end of the week slice it up and hand it out. A good ending to a meal with friends.

I'v still got some blackberrys in the freezer from summer :roll:  anyone tried Blackberry vodka, or does it not work?
