Peaches spring to mind as a good thing to try. I don't have a recipe as such, but found THIS ONE (http://recipes.epicurean.com/recipe/13501/peach-liqueur.html) which looks easy. :)

you could try it with just about any fruit, we have done orange, blackberry and eveng hedgerow fruit such as damsons and bullace.

I've made a sloe gin surprise .The surprise is it's made with vodka and blackcurrants ::).I just add about 75% of the sugar in the recipe and it is really good. Also made the same brew with brandy and that is even better.
To think that I used to make jam with my blackcurrants ::)

lol - i will give that one a try

I love making flavoured vodkas.
I regularly make limoncello (vodka with lemons) and have just started to make orangecello (vodka with oranges). I also make plum vodka, damson vodka and sloe vodka.
I also make sweet vodka's - fruit salad vodka, strawberry bon bon vodka - that sort of thing.
My latest venture has been toffee vodka! Basically it is two packets of Worthers Originals shoved in a wine bottle and topped up with vodka. Leave it about a week, shaking it every now and again, and the toffees dissolve leaving a lovely Bailey's like drink.
My next venture is to be Dime Bar vodka and cherry lips vodka!
Flying saucer (you know the rice paper sweets filled with sherbet) vodka is not particularly nice though.

I know its not fruit but I saw a recipe for lavender vodka.
Place 20 stems of lavender in a bottle, top with vodka, turn every day for 2 weeks then remove lavender and top up vodka.
Leaving stems in longer will turn liquid brown from woody stems.
Not tried it but intend to :tongue2:
