A couple of my chooks had a similar thing.  They had them before they began to lay.  I wormed them with flubenvet, put some cider vinegar once a week in their water.  Shortly after this they began to lay and I've had no orangy poo since.  Not sure if its a coincidence or wot :?   An eggspert will probably be along shortly to offer more advice

I have studied chicken poo at great length...  and it is still a complete mystery to me

Is the faeces orange all through or does it have orange bits in ?

Orange all the way through - no idea,  but could be diet

Orang pieces in - bits of digestive tract sloughed off, not unusual, not a problem.

Have you wormed them regularly ?

You could try adding a probiotic to their water.  eg. Poultry Magic or Avipro

With thre size of flock you have I thonk you sould be worming every 3 months.

Flubenvet is best for this as the "natural" product wormers don't treat gape worm flubenvet does.  Add to their feed at the rate of about 1/4 teasp per kilo of feed.  Feed for 7 consecutive days days.
