Hi all-
I have saved far more French bean seed than i need and wondered if there's any real merit in sowing the surplus as a green manure on ground I'll not be planting until July/august with winter brassicas.

You might find this article interesting. Without an innoculant (usually a special black powder), very little nitrogen will fix in the soil.
