Ohhhh....I dream of espalier fruit trees................we've had this conversation before Bombers! ;) I would like to plant a Morello Cherry if I ever get around to it as its North Facing and you advised that it would be a good choice. :happy:  Or did you have any other ideas?  It'd be a shame not to utilise it.

- didn't have enough polythene to cover it up after we hacked it down -

Get some large cardboard boxes, open them up and spread them over the weeds. Tack down corners with bricks or rocks and that should do the trick until you can get to the other patches.
