The new replies to posts used to show up at the top of the forum board but now they're all mixed up. Anyone know how to sort it out?

No sorry I don’t but I’ve noticed recently that even if I come on for the first time that day & cluck on recent unread posts it often tells me there aren’t any & the box comes up all unread posts ,when I click on that there’s loads of posts from yesterday & that day that are unread, didn’t used to be like that. Been meaning to post about it & not got round to it. There must be a gremlin 😂

I've run all the database maintenance routines so things should be back to normal. In theory, anyway

Yes - cracked it    When you view the forums and then go into a section like Chatting on the Plot, there are a number of sort facilities set into the green bar at the top - Subject/Started By and Replies/Views/Likes and Last Post

If you click on any one of them you can get a little white arrow to turn up or down.  You must have clicked one up, so it is sorting all the posts to that criteria. If you see an arrow pointing up, click it to make it point down and do the Last Post one at the end.  Even if this arrow is down, click it up and then down again.  I've just tried it and it puts things back where they should be

Er, been and done it several times as instructed but the TODAY and YESTERDAY posts are still mixed in with older ones. I can still manage my way around but it's just a bit strange because all was ok in the past, then the other day when I went to look at the first forum even before I'd clicked on a post all the replies were mixed up. Wasn't me honest!

I did a few more posts and thought it was all going ok; however it wasn't so have taken a pic via print screen so you can see what I mean but please don't worry because I can find what I want.

My issue is still the same, logged on this morning & no new posts, clicked on the box all unread posts & 3 for today & 2 pages of yesterdays

That screen shot looks as it should to me   

The posts at the top of the screen print, in the darker shaded area, are topics that have set as stickies, so they always sit above everything else in their own date order.  Underneath are all the rest of the posts on topics not set up as a sticky.
