Began creating the run today for the chicken coop!! I have never done anything DIY like this before so it was all very exciting!  Well the 5 posts are firmly cemented into the ground (level and straight!!) and also I have laid the pavers for the coop to sit on!

About the coop - bit gutted - the roof panel has a huge crack in one of the pieces of wood so will be ringing the company up to complain.

Bit of a pointless post I know, sorry! But I am very proud of what I have managed to do this afternoon!
Time for a muscle relaxing bath I think

well done i was excited when we extended the run for our chickens.
put some photo's on so we can all see.
we have a 30 foot run and they also use part of the garden.

I'm no DIY-er but love having a go. I've spent the last week making my run - much smaller than yours by the sound of it but I plan on letting them free range when I'm around. Just have to marry up the run with the house now -that's definitely not going to be easy!!
