We get our 5 Sablepoots tonight; can't wait.  Will they be able to go with the chicken eventually?
May this day be blessed with gifts, understanding and friends.  Merlin 2001-2012 Pandora 2001-2013 xxx

My poots get bullied by some of the big girls, plus in winter they should be kept in a covered sheltered run so I now keep them separate. I love poots they are so cute  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

I'VE GOT THEM yes I know I'm shouting :tongue2: but in a good way :D

They're 9 weeks old and have to be tamed they're so cute :D :D

We took wee Evie with us to get them from the farm they're just her size she wanted to stay sitting with them on the way home and take them to bed with her ::)

We're totally hooked :D :D :D

they're cream with black tipped wings :D we're keeping them in the hall at night for a few days but they'll be out during the day with cover and shelter :D I'll get Eils to put some photos up tomorrow; I'm useless at that sort of thing ::)

I can't stop smiling  I just wish we could have had a cockerel :(

Ali's decided they're his and has told the girlfriend he's getting more and as he has 2 weeks off from pre season training when he's not at the farm dry stone walling he'll be with the chicks getting them tame; he has a very understanding OH

Sounds like they will be lemon millefleur poots - if you change your mind about a boy I have one you can have - their crow isn't too loud and they do strut around very proud and look magnificent  :)

Ok I think I got a bit ahead of myself there    I'll try again tomorrow ::)

I've now got 5 Sablepoots wandering round the living room ( laminate floor ) one trying to fly another wiping it's beak on the floor and the others looking to see what's been found to eat, 'this is the best way to tame them' say's my son ::) so no doubt I'll find them sitting watching tv like the last ones, I'm so glad they don't grow too big  :nowink:

They fly!!!
