I've just butchered a purple sprouting broccoli    and i've not used a lot of the big leaves.

Can i feed them to the chooks? Do i need to cook them first if i do?  :?

My girls love:
Greens as in Kale/broccoli/old salad leaves/cabbage leaves/herbs - all of them NOT cooked
They also like left over cooked pasta/rice even had LO chinese noodles etc.

As a treat they get sultanas/raisins/ dried fruit/corn late after noon/early evening to make sure their crops are full before bedtime.
