had to clear a lot of dead shrubs around the hens run, now it looks so bare
and open. would it be safe for me to plant several elder trees in there?
one they are easy to shoot from cuttings two,... i can use the berries for wine etc...
ant advise most helpful  :unsure:

I think elder trees are okay. There are a few round my run. Do you need tp plan them though? The ones I've got have just appeared from when I've left bare soil.

Bear in mind though, once you've got an elder tree you can't cut it down. If you have to, you should ask the tree's permission first or you get bad luck  :D
