Is it the sort suitable for animals. If it was I'm surprised it doesn't say. Apparently the sort from the supermarket doesn't have the necessary benefits for chickens. ( that's what I read on a forum, someone will correct me if that post was incorrect)

the supermarket type has been cleaned so it doesn't have the mother bits in it, equine stuff when you look has lots of floaty bits in. My bottle doesn't have any feeding quantities on it either but about 10mls per litre is ok  :)

OO eck   I have just been sloshing some into the watering can I use to take the water down to the ladies. They seem OK with it.  My cider vinegar was the home forgotton type!!
Bought a box of scrumpy back from Devon and never got round to organising a big do to share it. Thought it would be OK to keep a while and it turned to vinegar
Has lots of bits in tho'

Girls seem to like it and the garlic I put in. Nanny always goes fishing for it as soon as it is in the water.

Yes, you can use the cloudy, horsey kind. Its the human supermarket version you shouldn't use with the chickens.

Don't use it in metal drinkers though, just the plastic ones.
